ghostofben is my sonic diary—a kind of alter ego spiraling headfirst into existential dread with a guitar, cheap recording gear, and far too many feelings.

Born from a cocktail of late-night panic, romantic delusion, and the gnawing suspicion that nothing actually matters, the vapor tapes EP is what happens when my self-awareness runs completely unchecked. Every track sounds like it’s been held together by the emotional stability of a wet paper bag—and I’ve tried to embrace that. Mistakes and deficiencies included. From pen to “production” (if we’re calling it that), it’s a one-man operation.

But as haphazardly polished as it may be, I think it makes for a decent, stumbling little soundtrack for anyone barely holding on to this strange clumping of matter we call existence.
